- In an episode set in Manhattan, Pumbaa tells Timon, "I wanna see a Broadway show. 'Guys and Dolls!'". Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella, the voices of Timon and Pumbaa, co-starred in the highly-successful 1992 Broadway revival of the musical "Guys and Dolls."
