Plot Summary
Kyon Ki...
Arnand (Salman Khan) is a charming, handsome young man; madly in love with his sweetheart who he's all set to marry. Until one day fate intervenes, and robs him of the life he'd planned for them. Now number 36 at Sir Richard's mental sanitarium, Arnand is treated by the stunning Dr. Tanvi (Kareena Kapoor) who is understanding and compassionate.
She is caught in the crossfire of emotions; torn between her professional duty to help Anand and her personal feelings for him. In unexpected places, against unexpected odds, romance blooms. Anand and Tanvi must fight a rigid society and a twisted medical system to keep their love alive. Kyon Ki is the tale of two relationships, three lovers and a plethora of emotions. It's a passionate love story, twisted by fate at its imaginative best.
Featuring a host of Bollywood and International stars including Bollywood's bad boy, Salman Khan, Rimi Sen, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff (Devdas) and Om Puri (East is East), this film is directed by renowned Indian director Priyadarshan.
